We’re excited to begin preparing for the next Impact Grants cycle.

At United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley, our work is about more than distributing funds. We help connect the work happening across our region by coordinating resources, addressing gaps, and supporting community nonprofits as they respond to changing community needs.

Details about the 2026 Impact Grants cycle will be shared after the May 15 final report deadline, once all partner reports have been collected and reviewed. This important step gives UWNSV the opportunity to celebrate the work of our funded partners, verify impact data, and complete our annual Impact Investment Report.

As the landscape of philanthropy continues to change, nonprofits are being asked to work smarter, collaborate more intentionally, and show how their efforts create meaningful community benefit. Completing this review first helps ensure the next grant cycle is informed by real outcomes, current community needs, and the resources available to invest back into our region.

We look forward to sharing more once the reporting and review process is complete.
