Kick Off Your United Way Campaign
Invest in Your Community. Inspire Your Team.
When your company runs a United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley workplace campaign, you are not just raising money. You are fueling change right here at home. Every pledge strengthens the local network of nonprofits that receive United Way Impact Grants, funding programs that provide shelter, food, healthcare, education, and financial stability across our region.
Over the past five years, workplace giving campaigns have helped United Way NSV invest more than $2.5 million directly into local nonprofits through Impact Grants. These funds have strengthened organizations in Winchester, Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, and Page counties, supporting everything from emergency shelter and mental health care to early learning and home repair. Because of the generosity of local employers and their teams, more than 50 community programs now serve thousands of Valley residents each year.
Your team’s support becomes the backbone of programs run by trusted partners like Concern Hotline, Response, Inc., Family Promise of Winchester Area, and Shenandoah Community Health Clinic, among others. Together, these organizations create stability and hope for families across the Valley.
Running a campaign is simple and powerful:
-
Give easily through payroll deduction or our secure online portal, which uses online giving and pledge forms that make it simple to track participation on your end and ours.
-
Align your company’s giving with real, measurable local impact.
-
Engage your employees through volunteering and shared purpose.
If your team is not ready to host a full workplace campaign, you can still make an impact by hosting a fundraising event and donating the proceeds to United Way NSV. From jeans days and chili cook-offs to golf tournaments and raffles, every creative effort helps strengthen the Valley we all share. This way you can still be involved!
When you Live United, you invest in the nonprofits that keep our community strong. Start your workplace campaign today and see how small contributions add up to big change across the Valley.
